Dr. Lakshmi Srinivasan

Dr. Lakshmi was one of the first vets responsible for implementing the ABC Programme through Abhaya, PFA and The Blue cross of Hyderabad. She has performed over ten thousand surgeries on different animals. She is the first lady and South Indian clinician to be awarded the “PACE” – an all India award given for the maximum contribution by a private practitioner to the veterinary profession.
Dr. Lakshmi has attended several symposia and seminars both in India and abroad to keep abreast with the current trends and therapies on various subjects like dermatology, oncology, vaccination guidelines and immunology.
Dr. J. V. Ramana
FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
Dr. Ramana was the chief veterinary officer for the Blue Cross and conducted more than 20,000 spays and neuters. He also worked at The Brooke (UK) as a veterinary officer and provided health care for working horses and donkeys and extension education for their owners. He has the rare distinction of having achieved maximum health care and owner awareness in the shortest time. The donkey healthcare camps at Sagroli in Maharashtra used to draw more than 1,800 donkeys for veterinary treatment and extension education.
He has been responsible for bringing justice to the horses at VINS Biologicals and Biological Evans.
He was also the CPCSEA nominee for ICRISAT and NIN. Dr Ramana was the president of The Blue Cross of Hyderabad for five years.

With 23 years of clinical and teaching experience in small animal orthopaedic and neurosurgery, he was the first veterinarian from India to complete a two-month orthopaedic training at the Small animal hospital, University of Zurich, Switzerland in 1994. He has authored 65 clinical publications and 25 popular articles on pet practice, and is a recipient of eighteen gold medals in his academic career.

I am Dr K. Satish Kumar, currently designated as Professor and University Head of Medicine at P. V. Narasimha Rao Telangana Veterinary University, Hyderabad. I completed PhD in 2009 with a speciality in canine cardiology. My passion for cardiology and my deepest feelings to be one of the best in the profession forced me to choose this unique area as a speciality. Since then, my journey towards understanding the canine heart has been never-ending. Though my career in the veterinary profession was by chance initially, later, it became a challenge. I personally feel that every patient that reaches my ward is unique.
